AGP bolsters exec lineup, promotes three

New York -based American Greetings Properties has promoted three key executives in its intellectual property and outbound licensing division.

Megan Buettner has been bumped up to VP of global brands, while Carla Neves is now senior manager of International Licensing. Additionally, Lauren Sutton has been named associate licensing manger of International Licensing.

Buettner has been with the company since 2005 and most recently served as creative director for the Retail Design and Experience department. In her new role, she will be responsible for the creative direction and production of AGP’s legacy brands, including Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake.

Neves will now be responsible for maintaining and growing merchandise, promotions, publishing and retail programs for the company’s licensed properties in Asia Pacific and Latin American, with an emphasis on Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake.

Sutton, meanwhile, will be focused on managing the licensing business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and expanding the presence of the aforementioned iconic brands in those territories, as well as bringing Holly Hobbie to new markets in those territories.
