Paris-based Moonscoop and London-based prodco I Can Fly are set to co-produce a new tennis-themed, animated series entitled Turboten, developed in association with the French Federation of Tennis and top professional French tennis star Jo Wilfried Tsonga.

The adventure comedy series targets kids ages six and up and follows the adventures of two heroes, Sunny and Marina, who are students at a secret tennis school named Turbo Center where they must learn skills for the global tournament Turboten.

The series is currently being promoted at The French Open’s Roland Garros and a comic book prequel from publisher Indeez is set to launch prior to the show’s television debut.

I Can Fly also produces animated series The Basketeers (featuring NBA star Tony Parker), which recently scored an NBA merchandising deal.
