London, England-based Rocket Licensing has inked a deal with parenting and children’s products retailer Mothercare to produce a range of licensed products based on writer/illustrator Emma Thomson’s popular Isabella’s Toybox book series.

A line of apparel for babies (baby essentials, accessories, gifts) is set to launch worldwide this fall in UK and international Mothercare store locations.

Isabella’s Toybox, which was first published in 2007 by Hodder’s Children’s Books, follows the story of a little girl who discovers a lost key to a toybox and frees the toys inside.

The new deal expands the licensing program of the property which has already experienced strong book, plush and greeting card sales.

Thomson has written and illustrated more than 130 books that have sold more than eight million copies and been translated into more than 22 languages.
