Zodiak Media’s international division Zodiak Rights has renewed its international licensing agreement with London-based Tiger Aspect to rep the Mr. Bean property.

Since Zodiak Rights was appointed by Tiger Aspect as the UK licensing agent for Mr. Bean in 2009, a number of licensees have been secured to make products based on the IP including Ty (Beanies, Beanie key rings, including a special Jubilee range), MonnalisaSPA, Original Marines, Spreadshirt and Spike Leisurewear (apparel), Half Moon Bay (gifts, accessories), Hype (greeting cards) and Orion Costume (adult costumes).

The renewal further adds to the strength of the Mr. Bean property, which boasts an original live-action series, starring bumbling British comedian and actor, Rowan Atkinson, that has been seen in more than 190 countries worldwide (50 territories currently), an animated series that has been viewed by six million people in 30 territories since its debut on Boomerang in fall 2010, and online clips of Mr. Bean have been viewed more than one billion times.

Turner Broadcasting also recently acquired broadcasting rights to all 14 half-hour episodes of the original live-action comedy series from Tiger Aspect.
