Toei secures new TV deals for Latin America

Tokyo-based production studio Toei Animation has inked new broadcasting deals across Latin America for its boy-skewing brand Dragon Ball and anime property Saint Seiya.

Tokyo-based production studio Toei Animation has inked new broadcasting deals across Latin America for its boy-skewing brand Dragon Ball and anime property Saint Seiya.

Ceettv-City TV Canal S.A. (Columbia) has snapped up the original Dragon Ball Z (291 x half hours) series, the updated director’s cut version, Dragon Ball Z Kai (98 x half hours), Saint Seiya (114 x half hours), as well as its spin-off series, Saint Seiya The Hades: Sanctuary (13 x half hours) and Saint Seiya The Hades: Inferno (12 x half hours).   

In addition, Ecuavisa (Ecuador) has renewed Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai, and picked up Saint Seiya Hades: Elysion (6 x half hour), One Piece (52 x half hour) and 20 movies based on the Dragon Ball franchise.
