Al Jazeera picks up Slash

Al Jazeera's Children's Channel for the MENA region has snapped up the tween-targeted animated series Slash:// from Italian animation studio Gruppo Alcuni.

Al Jazeera’s Children’s Channel for the MENA region has snapped up the tween-targeted animated series Slash:// from Italian animation studio Gruppo Alcuni.

The 26 x 20-minute internet-themed series, a co-production with Rai Fiction, follows the adventures of a group of five youngsters from across the globe who use magical powers from a green stone to physically travel through the internet.

The series has already been sold to Canal Panda (Spain), RTP (Portugal), RAI 2 (Italy), NOGA (Israel) and Klub 100.
