Hiroyuki Kinoshita named CEO of Toei Animation

In a move to further expand its global operations, Tokyo, Japan-based producer Toei Animation has appointed Toei veteran Hiroyuki Kinoshita as the CEO of Toei Animation Enterprises and COO of Toei Animation and Toei Animation Europe effective immediately.

In a move to further expand its global operations, Tokyo, Japan-based  producer Toei Animation has appointed Toei veteran Hiroyuki Kinoshita as the CEO of Toei Animation Enterprises and COO of Toei Animation and Toei Animation Europe effective immediately.

Kinoshita started at Toei in 2004 as director of business planning, and since then he has held titles including CFO and secretary and treasurer of Toei Animation, as well as director of content, business, and director of overseas strategy promotion.

Toei Animation launched in 1956 and to date has produced more than 10,000 TV eps for hit series including Sailor Moon and Digimon. It has also produced more than 200 feature-length films and currently has offices in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Paris and Shanghai.

Hong Kong-based Toei Animation Enterprises is the marketing, licensing and merchandising arm of Toei Animation for Asia.
