The new series will be produced and animated in the UK by Three Stones Media.

The series, created by Genevieve Webster and Michael De Souza and developed from the original books published by Little Roots, follows the adventures of mystery-solving skate-boarder Rastamouse and his reggae band, Da Easy Crew.

Licensees currently on-board for the brand include EMI (music), Universal (DVD), Character Options (master toy), MacMillan (publishing), Vogue (melamine products from tableware to drinkware, clocks and room decor), Zap (bedding), MVSports (outdoor toys), Sommerbond (underwear and nightwear) and Their Nibs (children’s sleepwear).
