UK-based HIT Entertainment has locked down four licensees for its latest preschool property, Mike the Knight.
The new licensees include Egmont (annuals for fall 2012), Publications International (sound books in the UK, Germany, Spain and Portugal for fall 2012), Grosvenor (UK toiletries, dental care for December 2012), and Finsbury Foods (UK cakes for spring 2013).
The series starring the young knight in training, which is produced by HIT and Nelvana Studio, debuted on CBeebies, Treehouse and TF1three months ago and is set to launch in 10 new countries including Australia (ABC), Sweden (SVT), Norway (NRK) and Finland (YLE).
The new licensees bring the IP’s total number of licensees to 30 after recent deals were made for products including bedding, greeting cards and posters.
