Kidobi lands rights for Gombby’s Green Island

Canadian online preschool video platform Kidobi has inked a new digital distribution deal with Lisbon, Portugal-based Big Storm Studios that will give the platform digital and VoD rights for preschool series Gombby's Green Island (52 x 13-minutes) and offer the North American premiere to its subscribers.

Canadian online preschool video platform Kidobi has inked a new digital distribution deal with Lisbon, Portugal-based Big Storm Studios that will give the platform digital and VoD rights for preschool series Gombby’s Green Island (52 x 13-minutes) and offer the North American premiere to its subscribers.

The series, which helps kids’ general knowledge skills and healthy lifestyle choices, follows the adventures of Gombby, a boy with a knack for baking, and his friends Strawy and Celeste as they investigate mysteries on Green Island with the help of inventor Gadget Man.

The deal comes on the heels of Kidobi’s recent digital distribution deal with Germany-based Studio100 Media which gives Kidobi the rights to shows such as Maya the Bee and Zigby.
