Australian television network the Seven Network has picked up Anima Estudios, SLR Productions, Home Plate Entertainment and Telegael’s new series Teenage Fairytale Dropouts for broadcast in 2013.
The 52 x 11-minute flash-animated comedy tells the story of Jeremiah, Fury and Trafalgar, three best friends and second-generation fairytale characters who are determined to be themselves – no matter what their well-known fairytale parents think about it.
In related news, Canada’s CCI Entertainment recently signed on as the series’ international distributor.
