CBBC has commissioned Zodiak Kids’ production company the Foundation Scotland to produce a new children’s sports-themed series, Ultimate Sports Day, that will air in the run-up to the London Olympics next year.
This 11x 30-minute series, hosted by Ore Oduba (BBC Sport, CBBC’s Newsround), will see four regional teams of four young athletes from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland compete, through the help of notable sports mentors, to become the Ultimate Sports Day champions.
Ultimate Sports Day is currently in production in Scotland and will premiere on CBBC early next year.
