Hasbro Studios makes raft of European sales

Hasbro Studios, the production and distribution division of toymaker Hasbro, has made multiple sales of its kids programming across Europe.

France’s Lagardere, which operates Channel 7’s TiJi, will air My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Transformers Prime, the latter of which will be broadcast on its Canal J and Gulli services.

In Germany, Hasbro Studios has sold The Adventures of Chuck and Friends to broadcaster Super RTL. Additionally, Nickelodeon will offer My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Transformers Prime throughout Germany.

Meanwhile, Nickelodeon in the Netherlands has acquired My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Transformers Prime and Pound Puppies. VTM Belgium has secured My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Pound Puppies for its children’s channel, Kazoom. GI Joe Renegades and Transformers Prime will appear on newly launched tween boys’ channel 2B.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has already made waves in the European marketplace. The series has been one of Cartoon Network UK’s top-five shows since launching there in July.
