Entertainment One’s Peppa Pig is returning to the stage this fall in the new live show called Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt. The show will tour the UK and Ireland through July 2012.
Entertainment One is working with Fiery Angel and Limelight Productions on this second live stage show based on the franchise. Peppa Pig’s first stage tour, Peppa Pig’s Party, played more than 650 performances in 90 venues across the UK and Ireland and grossed US$8.7 million in sales.
Off-stage, Peppa Pig has had a stellar year ever racking up US$323 million in UK merchandise sales in 2010. The TV series is now being shown in more than 180 territories including the US, where it launched on Nick Junior in February.
