Production has started on playwright Tony Marchant’s specially commissioned, three-part series, Postcode, an urban drama reflecting the realities of life for young people in Britain today. The new series will air later this year on CBBC.
Produced by Zodiak Media-owned The Foundation and filmed entirely on location in South London, the series will chart the ups and downs of a diverse set of characters who are united by football, music and the laws of the street.
The series marks the first time Marchant, whose credits include Holding On, The Mark of Cain and Garrow’s Law, has tackled big themes in a drama specifically targeted at young people.
