Zodiak taps new consumer products exec

Zodiak Rights, the global division of Zodiak Media Group, has named former Nickelodeon exec Jennifer Lawlor as its SVP of strategy and planning for consumer products.

Zodiak Rights, the global division of Zodiak Media Group, has named former Nickelodeon exec Jennifer Lawlor as its SVP of strategy and planning for consumer products.

Lawlor is the company’s first strategy and planning SVP and joins with a wide-ranging remit to oversee the implementation of Zodiak Rights and Zodiak Kids’ product and brand strategy across its UK portfolio. She will oversee the global roll-out of brands such as Waybuloo (currently licensed to more than 80 countries worldwide), Tic Toc House (WT) for Nickelodeon US and Mister Maker, the CBeebies arts & craft show. She will also oversee consumer products success for future commissions, co-productions and acquisitions from Zodiak Rights and Zodiak Kids.

Lawlor hails from MTV/ Nickelodeon Consumer Products, where she held the position of VP of emerging markets and business development, EMEA (London). She was responsible for running Nickelodeon’s consumer products business in emerging markets and overseeing their international business development including third-party acquisitions. Prior to Nick, Lawlor was VP of marketing and licensing for New York-based 4Kids Entertainment.
