New York-based digital publishing house ScrollMotion has introduced classic children’s character Arthur to the app world with a collection of nine book apps.

First up in the Arthur Reads series is creator Marc Brown’s newest book, Arthur Turns Green. All of the Arthur apps are narrated by Brown himself and include record-your-own audio, interactive coloring pages, digital jigsaw puzzles and are compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Arthur joins a growing list of book titles that live on ScrollMotion’s media platform, which currently powers titles for Sesame Street, Disney, Curious George and Thomas & Friends brands.

ScrollMotion is currently the largest developer of branded apps in the iTunes App Store.
