Thomas drives Latin American retail program

HIT Entertainment has partnered with Latin American department store Falabella to launch an exclusive Thomas & Friends-branded direct-to-retail program in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

HIT Entertainment has partnered with Latin American department store Falabella to launch an exclusive Thomas & Friends-branded direct-to-retail program in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

The products will be available at all 73 Falabella stores in the region starting this summer. Falabella will create, manufacture and market Thomas & Friends apparel, accessories, and child watches.  Additional products will be available by territory.

The designs will incorporate the new look based on the CG-animated series of Thomas & Friends (Thomas y sus amigos) that launched on Discovery Kids in Latin America last summer. Since its launch, the series has reached number-one in the rankings for children ages four to 11 across the region.
