Moonscoop and its sister company Lux Animation, along with UK production house Talent Television and Ireland-based Telegael, have struck a co-production deal for a live-action F/X series called My Phone Genie.

The 26 x half-hour series, commissioned by CiTV in association with ZDF/ZDF Enterprises, will also be the subject of multi-platform and mobile content efforts.

Worldwide distribution and L & M will be handled by Moonscoop and ZDF Enterprises excluding Japan, which will be managed by Talent Television.

Aimed at kids ages12 and up, the series will follow main character Jaz, who tries to download a new ringtone but instead downloads a real Genie.
