Author and journalist Steven Berlin Johnson is delivering the 12th annual KidScreen Summit’s keynote kick-off presentation on February 16 in New York City.

Addressing an anticipated crowd of more than 1,500 creators, producers, distributors, broadcasters, consumer products execs, marketers and service providers who work with kids content, Johnson will explore the genesis of innovation through the ages and draw from his latest book, Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation, which breaks down the cultural, biological and environmental factors that have sparked the greatest ideas of human history.

Johnson has published six critically acclaimed books, including national bestseller Everything Bad is Good For You, which argues that the media we love to hate – TV, movies and video games – are getting better and are making us (and our children) smarter.
