The Foundation, a subsidiary of the newly formed Zodiak Media Group, has inked a deal with TT Animation to create and produce a new CG-animated children’s series Buddy Patrol (52 x 11-minutes), which made its debut at this year’s Mipcom in Cannes, France.
Aimed at kids ages four to six, the series is based on the day-to-day life of a young cop whose job is to keep the peace in Fair City with the help of his partner and the show’s viewers.
Buddy Patrol‘s executive producers are Nigel Pickard and Vanessa Hill for The Foundation and Jon Burton for TT Animation. Zodiak Rights, part of Zodiak Media Group, the new international rights business combining RDF Rights and Zodiak Entertainment Distribution, retains worldwide rights to the property.
