XMediaLab has announced its inaugural XMediaLab: China Animation Market, a professional conference and business-matching forum for international animation companies seeking to do business in China, taking place in Suzhou, China from July 9 to 11.
Part of the China Animation and Game Expo, and mandated by the Chinese Central Government, the summit is presented by XMediaLab in partnership with the Suzhou Municipal Government and Shanghai Media.
The summit will allow international companies and broadcasters to explore business opportunities in outsourcing, co-production, investment, distribution, franchising and licensing with pre-selected Chinese companies in a business matching environment.
In attendance will be key powerbrokers from all China’s TV animation networks, as well as international execs including Walt Disney Company director of development Leah Hoyer, Matthew Wexler, director of global licensing and business development for Spin Master Entertainment, Bejuba! Entertainment president Tatiana Kober and Tim Brooke-Hunt, executive head of children’s content at ABC TV (Sydney).
