Family entertainment producer and distributor Chorion is heading to Vegas next month with a raft of new apparel licensees across the US and Europe for the Mr. Men and Little Miss brands.

In the US, Chorion is expanding its apparel business with Fruit of the Loom’s FunGals girls underwear. The first Little Miss girls packaged briefs will rollout in spring 2011, and new collections are in development for 2012.

In the UK, retailer Mothercare will launch its first line of Mr. Men and Little Miss baby wear in June. The range includes two-pack all-in-ones and two-pack bodysuits for boys and girls. The licensee, Crystal Martin, is now working on new concepts for Mr. Men and Little Miss for spring/summer 2011.

Also in Europe, textile and apparel manufacturer Sahinler Group is producing a Mr. Men and Little Miss baby wear collection that will rollout alongside its existing line for kids in retail outlets across France and Germany. Blues Clothing is also developing a full range of classic Mr. Men and Little Miss apparel for tweens, teens and adults for retail in France from 2011. In Germany, TV Mania has launched its Mr. Men collection, with product landing at Ernsting’s Family department stores in summer 2011.

Chorion is looking to further expand the Mr. Men and Little Miss program, which currently has roughly 280 licensees worldwide, into additional categories for girls and boys, including footwear, outerwear, swimwear and eyewear.
