In advance of the July 2nd release of Paramount Pictures’ The Last Airbender, based on the Nickelodeon TV series, Bazooka Candy Brands is launching a multi-platform merchandising program for select candy lines starting this month.
The promotion includes multi-brand merchandisers, featuring popular characters from the film including Prince Zuko and Aang. The Last Airbender display units will contain non-chocolate candies Baby Bottle Pop candy, Jumbo Push Pop lollipop and Juicy Drop Pop candy.
Bazooka is supporting the campaign with a promotional website, www.Candymania.com, which will house a game featuring characters from the movie. Retail initiatives will also be supported by television and online advertising on kid-oriented outlets.
