People moves: Upper-management restructure at Kidz Entertainment

Denmark-based licensing agency Kidz Entertainment has restructured its management team. As part of the move, KJ Istok is stepping down as CEO and taking on the role of chairman, while former chairman Morten Geschwendtner is now CEO/MD.

Denmark-based licensing agency Kidz Entertainment has restructured its management team. As part of the move, KJ Istok is stepping down as CEO and taking on the role of chairman, while former chairman Morten Geschwendtner is now CEO/MD.

Peter Schnohris taking on the role of COO/director and Darran Garnham assumes the role of director of strategic sales. Director of entertainment Claus Tømming is now director of Russia and entertainment, which reflect his role in leading the company’s Russian operations.

In the meantime, current finance manager Teena Andersen is expanding her responsibilities to include head of finance. Also, four new staff positions are being created in the near future.

In other news, Target Entertainment Group has just tapped Kidz Entertainment as the Scandinavian and Eastern European agent for PlayStation licensing activities.

Under the deal, Kidz will manage a the L&M program for the property, spanning all consumer product categories, excluding PlayStation peripherals and PlayStation specific accessories.

The PlayStation brand incorporates the PlayStation logo, the format logos PS one, PlayStation2, PSP and PlayStation3, DUALSHOCK3 wireless controller designs as well as PlayStation symbols and taglines.
