Spain-based prodco/distributor Imira Entertainment is expanding its live-action portfolio at LA Screenings this month, representing two new properties from Germany’s ZDF Enterprises.

Dance Academy (52 x 26-minutes) and the 90-minute TV movie Stella & the Orient Star will be represented by Imira for Iberia, Latin America and US Hispanic markets.

Dance Academy, produced by Werner Films Production, is a new drama series for tweens and teens that follows 15-year-old Tara Webster, who makes it into the National Academy of Dance and quickly realizes there’s more to surviving the Academy than just dancing.

In Stella & the Orient Star, 10-year-old Stella finds a magic wardrobe that transports her back to the early 20th century.

The titles join ZDF Enterprises other live-action fare, including H20: Just Add Water (78 x 26-minutes) and The Elephant Princess (52 x 26-minutes).
