Sesame Workshop and the BASF Kids’ Lab are taking the stage for an interactive educational program called Magic Map Show, which will run at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China from May 1 to October 31, 2010.
The live show uses Sesame Street characters and science to take children on a journey across five continents and to teach the importance of the environment. The show will run twice daily at Dock Theater in Expo Garden in Pu Xi.
Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit educational organization, produces Sesame Street programs, seen in more than 140 countries, and other shows to help bridge the literacy gap. Since its introduction to China in 2002, more than 100,000 children have joined the German-based BASF Kids’ Lab, a chemistry program aimed at children aged six to 12.
