BBC Worldwide has secured eight new licensees in support of the new CBeebies commission, ZingZillas. The preschool musical show (52 x 22-minutes) was produced in-house by CBeebies for the BBC. The series aired on CBeebies earlier this month and has signed a total of 14 licensees, fronted by master toy licensee Vivid Imaginations.
The eight newly appointed licensees for ZingZillas are Martin Yaffe (wheeled toys), Character World (bedding), DNC (lunchware and melamine items), Samuel Eden (socks), Trademark Collections (bags and umbrellas), Bon Bon Buddies (seasonal confectionary), Danilo (greetings cards and gift-wrap) and Worlds Apart (furniture). Along with products from the previously announced licensees, the newly agreed ranges will hit retailers starting Fall, 2010.
