KidsCo, the international children’s channel, has signed a satellite deal with telecommunications operator France Telecom – Orange. In addition to its existing Orange IPTV positions, KidsCo will now be available on three of the Orange satellite platforms including Astra 19.2 East starting April 2010, and Hotbird 6 and AB3 starting June 2010.

Orange is already delivering KidsCo programming including New Adventures of Madeleine, Dino Squad, Dennis the Menace and Fat Dog Mendoza as well as KidsCo original programming Boo & Me and Jass Time! to platforms across France (including the French Caribbean islands), Spain, Poland and Slovakia.

The deal facilitates the channel’s expansion into Western and Central Eastern Europe. KidsCo offers three programming zones of preschool, kids 6-10 and family.
