Indie licensing company Plus Licens is expanding its focus beyond Nordic and Eastern Europe to launch Plus Licens & Design Tokyo, an operation similar to its Paris-based office.
The new Japanese base will help build licensing programs for the IPs repped by the company worldwide. It will also help scout and facilitate major Japanese properties that Plus Licens reps in Europe and the Americas.
It will be helmed by Sachiko Imaizumi, who boasts licensing experience from United Media KK, Copyrights Asia, Marks and Fukuinkan Shoten Publishers.
