It looks like Miffy will be making the move to the silver screen as Telescreen and m4e bring the Dutch preschool property to Berlin’s European Film market.
Miffy has a new 70-minute stop-motion movie targeting the three to six set that’s currently in pre-production and slated for a November 2011 delivery. Telescreen Film Productions, a division of Telescreen, is co-producing with Dutch public broadcaster KRO at a budget of around US$4.5 million, and with the development support of the MEDIA programme of the European Union and the Dutch Film Fund.
