San Diego-based TCKL, founded by former Jakks Pacific SVP Tony Lawlor, is introducing new preschool property Drip Drops at Toy Fair in New York next month, led by a toy line inspired by a series of illustrated books featuring the characters.

The Drip Drops aim to teach kids about color and nature and the toys will include activity sets, plush and mini figures aiming for a fall 2010 US retail launch.

TCKL is also rolling out an animated entertainment and an interactive online environment and the first Drip Drops animated episode is available on www.thedripdrops.com.

The Drip Drops themselves are characters who know everything there is to know about color and why certain colors appear in nature. They interact and learn from one another in their homeland, Tint Town.

This cause-related property is associated with the Circle of Care Foundation, an organization which provides support and resources to young burn victims.
