DreamWorks Animation and ToyQuest are teaming up for the November 2010 feature film, Megamind.
It’s DreamWork’s first super hero movie and ToyQuest has landed the master toy license for the film. The toyco’s planning to roll out action figures, vehicles, plush, role play products and playsets based on the property for fall 2010.
Megamind centers on a successful super-villain who becomes disillusioned when he actually manages to kill off his arch rival and finds himself without a purpose. So he creates superhero opponent, Tighten, who promises to be the biggest and strongest do-gooder going. Pretty quickly, Tighten starts to think it’s much more fun to be a villain than a good guy and Megamind must decide if he can defeat his own diabolical creation.
