Capping off a whirlwind 10th-anniversary year full of celebrations for its iconic yellow sponge, Nickelodeon has greenlit 26 new original eps of SpongeBob SquarePants.
The commission brings the total number of eps to 178 for the ever-popular series. The Nicktoons Production is produced at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California, and airs in 171 markets worldwide in 26 languages.
