Filming is underway on Cardiff-based indie prodco Calon TV’s CBBC-commissioned series Zoo Factor.
The reality TV spoof stars a group of desperate wild animal contestants trying to impress a judging panel with their talents and stories each week. Targeting kids eight to 10, Mark Evans (Saturday Night Takeaway, Strictly Come Dancing) and Will Ing (Pop Idol, 8 Out of 10 Cats) are writing the series.
It’s slated to debut on CBBC next spring.
