Market share is up 26% for Rainbow’s Winx Club on Nickelodeon Germany, which saw season four the airwaves last month, with daily market shares of up to 26% among kids three to 13.
Marketed by Grünwald-based brand management and media company m4e, the series from Rainbow scored a regular afternoon spot, with the 26 new eps being broadcast from Monday to Friday at 16:15 along with repeats that started airing on December 8.
The German version of the official Winx Club (www.winxclub.com) was relaunched on December 11, offering an online forum and a MMOG.
On the consumer products front, Ravensburger will introduce a new jigsaw puzzle and PEZ will rollout a branded candy container in January. And in the beginning of 2010, Rainbow Media and Bandai Namco Partners will introduce a new Nintendo DS game. The second half of 2010 will see a tour of the Winx Club musical, as well as a second theatrical film.
