BBC Worldwide has secured broadcasting deals in Spain and Taiwan for Little Airplane Productions’ preschool animated series 3rd & Bird!.
Playhouse Disney and Televisio de Catalunya have snapped up the broadcasting rights for all 50 x 10-minute eps, along with the 20 minute special. The series will hit Spanish airwaves from Q1 2010.
Meanwhile, BBCW has also inked a deal for the series with PTS Channel, Taiwan’s major FTA channel, for all eps. The series will be broadcast in Mandarin from early 2010.
