Anna Pak has joined the exec ranks at global children’s channel KidsCo as commercial director for Western Europe.
Pak will help to expand the channel’s presence in established regions and close carriage deals in large territories, such as France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands. Pak comes from international news channel Euronews as the regional head of distribution, and is moving from Paris to KidsCo’s HQ in central London to take up her new position in December.
Meanwhile, the channel has just started airing across Cyprus on CytaVision as part of the children’s package on CYTA, a digital TV provider. It’s based on a broadband IPTV infrastructure and provides TV, VOD, games on demand and internet tools through set-top boxes.
