As Twentieth Century Fox preps for the release of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief on February 12, 2010, its L&M division has brought on a master toy partner.
Sunrise, Florida-based Jazwares is onboard to rollout a product line, including action figures and accessories. The film is based on Rick Riordan’s bestselling book series, set in a modern world where the 12 gods from Mount Olympus are alive and the titular teenage son of Poseidon is suspected by Zeus of stealing his lightning bolt.
