Hackensack, New Jersey-based SGFootwear, a leading manufacturer of licensed kids shoes, has acquired marine and fishing footwear brand Rugged Shark.
The deal with Gordon Brothers’ marine and fishing footwear brand will help SG expand into new channels of distribution, with short-term goals including department stores and footwear specialty retailers with a focus on lifestyle positioning. Rugged Shark targets men 25 to 55.
