Noksu, a new 65 x five minute 3-D animated preschool Finnish/Indonesian/UK co-pro has entered production.

The series produced by Finland’s Epidem ZOT, UK-based Steve Walsh Productions and Indonesia’s Lumine Studios follows the title character and his playmates as they learn life skills and experience growing up. It’s based on a kitlit series by Mikko Kunnas, and was developed with support from the Finnish Film Foundation and the Nordic Film & TV Fund.

The first 26 eps are slated for a mid-2010 delivery, with the remaining 39 being finished by the fourth quarter. Evergreen Entertainment is on-board for all TV and DVD sales outside the Nordic area. Noksu has been pre-bought by stations in Finland and Norway.
