The search continues for Finn Arnesen’s replacement at Turner Broadcasting, and in the interim, the company has brought on Tina McCann as acting chief content officer for its entertainment brands in the EMEA.

Her six-month tenure will see McCann managing development and acquisitions for the EMEA on Turner’s Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito brands, as well as taking responsibility for the central creative team and franchise management.

The appointment marks McCann’s return to Turner, where she last served as SVP and GM of Turner Entertainment, Europe in 2006. She’s also worked as a director at one six eight, a content development prodco, as well as executive coach and consultant with TMc Consulting.

In the meantime, Turner is still on the hunt for a long-term candidate for SVP of original series & international development.
