New Bike Entertainment secures Funbag’s Assets

Mark Edwards, president of Bent 360: MediaLab, and Rick Morrison, president of Big Jump Productions, have secured the assets of Funbag Animation Studios through their joint-venture company Ottawa, Canada-based New Bike Entertainment.

Funbag Animation Studios was founded in 1993 and has grown to become one of the major independents in North America, servicing international clients such as Nelvana, Film Roman, MGM Animation, Warner Brothers, MTV, Universal Cartoon Studios and Hit Entertainment.

The company also has proprietary rights to IP including For Better or Worse, Mole Sisters, Eggs and Toad Patrol.
