The Animal Planet merch program just keeps on growing as Discovery Communication and the Joester Loria Group signs California Costume Collections.
The new licensee will develop Animal Planet branded Halloween costumes and accessories for kids and dogs, starting off with the eight-SKU infant and young toddler line (US$39.99 to US$59.99), featuring meerkats, chimps and peacocks.
It’ll be available at toy, specialty and party goods retailers along with catalog and online. Meanwhile, the canine costumes will feature a variety of animals from crocodiles, dinosaurs and porcupines, and will be available at pet stores and party goods retailers in time for Halloween 2010.
