New eps of Wizards of Waverly Place, The Suite Life on Derek and Phineas and Ferb, along with a special airing of Zeke and Luther gave Disney Channel top ratings on Friday, October 16.

Phineas and Ferb was TV’s top telecast in kids six to 11, while Suite Life was TV’s number one telecast in tweens nine to 14 and cable’s top telecast in total viewers. Thanks to the new eps, DC delivered TV’s top 13 telecasts in kids six to 11 and 14 of the top 15 in tweens nine to 14. As for total viewers, the kidnet had six of cable’s top 10 telecasts on Friday.

Additionally, Wizards, Suite Life, Phineas and Zeke all saw the top rank in their time slots in key kid demos.

It also looks like DC is ready for more adventures on the high seas, as it orders season three of The Suite Life on Derek, which will begin production in Hollywood in early 2010.
