Stars from Nickelodeon’s hit tween series iCarly will be making their debut on the kidnet’s new original TV movie Best Player, which is commencing production in Vancouver, Canada.
Slated for a 2010 premiere on the kidnet, the TV movie revolves around a duo of cyber athletes (played by iCarly‘s Jerry Trainor and Jennette McCurdy) who discover the excitement of the real world as Trainor’s character looks to maintain his perfect virtual life by entering a new vidgame tourney.
Shooting will begin Oct. 24 in Vancouver, BC, for a 2010 premiere on Nickelodeon. Best Player is executive produced by Jessica Horowitz, Lauren Levine and Marjorie Cohn. Scott McAboy is on board as producer, with executive producers also including Sandy Climan and Christine Foy.
