Odyssey Entertainment, the entertainment division for Plano, Texas-based Odyssey Pictures Corporation, has inked the licensing and distribution rights to animated children’s content from Dominique Paul Mougenot.

DPM is a French-based distributor of entertainment and ‘how-to’ international programming, and Odyssey has picked up a number of its animated shorts, including titles from toon classics such as Superman, Popeye, Casper and more, as well as the 75-minute, cell-animated feature Gulliver’s Travels produced by Paramount Studios in 1939.

Odyssey will look to digitize the library and re-distribute it over multiple media platforms, including satellite and IPTV digital broadcasting.
