It looks like Cartoon Network’s series are getting the HD treatment, as the kidnet launches hi-def capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.
Japan’s SkyPerfect TV will kick off the new offering, which will include series such as Ben 10: Alien Force, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Meanwhile, the upcoming November global premiere of Ben 10: Alien Swarm will be the net’s first movie to be shown in HD in Asia Pacific. Green carpet premieres are slated in Australia, China, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and The Philippines, which will all feature the movie in HD, while a Blu-ray version of the movie will be released for retail sale in early 2010
