The season three premiere of Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place came in as TV’s top telecast in kids six to 11 and tweens nine to 14, as well as cable’s number one scripted telecast in total viewers.
Thanks to Wizards, DC held Friday’s top 17 TV telecast in kids six to 11, top 14 TV telecasts in tweens nine to 14 and 10 of cable’s top 14 scripted telecasts in total viewers.
The premiere also improved by 43% in kids six to 11 and 55% in tweens nine to 14, compared to its season two premiere in September 2008.
