Entering a whole new genre of thrills and chills movie-making, The Walt Disney Studios has teamed up with filmmaker Guillermo del Toro to form new production label Disney Double Dare You.

The announcement was made at D23 Expo this past weekend, and DDY will focus on creating new all-ages animated films to get the adrenaline pumping. del Toro, who will direct certain projects, originated the concept and design of the new label and films will be produced under his guidance.

Trollhunters, an original del Toro story, is the first project currently in development, which he’ll also produce.
